Battle Ropes

For today’s workout I tested out the battle ropes at out gym to work my shoulders. I have to say I like the ropes, but the placement at my gym could be much better. (Note: you need a fairly large space). Next time I use them I’ll be sure to unhook them and move them to a larger area and have a buddy stand on the other end. (Sometime you just have to improvise!) Anyways, here’s the workout!

Cardio:
30 Minutes on the elliptical. Level 9 Calories: 322. 2.67mi completed

Working on some yoga after my workout :)
Battle Ropes: Complete each exercise for 30 seconds for a total of 15 minutes. Keep your breaks to a minimum.
Double Wave
Alternating Wave
Snakes on the floor
Power Slam

Battle Ropes 2: Complete each exercise for 30 seconds for a total of 15 minutes. Keep your breaks to a minimum.
Side Slam
Alternating wave w/ squats
Claps
Figure 8’s

 Overhead Power Ball Slams: Reapeat 5x's
 25 lb medicine ball 30 seconds (rest 10)  Video demonstration Power Ball Slams

 Abs:
Bicycles: 3 sets 50 reps
Butterfly Crunches: 3 sets 50 reps
